Having lived in Japan for a total of 8 years, including one in a rural community and three studying at a Japanese university, performed Japanese traditional comic theatre (kyogen), worked for a Japanese corporation and written for a Japanese publication on local issues, Debbie can provide unique insight into Japan.

She has made television appearances on Asahi Television and NHK (the Japanese national broadcaster), been interviewed on ABC radio, and has spoken in front of professional gatherings. She is available for media comment.
